TODAY’S GAME PLAN

Greed, fear and the ability to understand the dynamitic of each are what drive the stock markets. Jellybean Trader is based on this simple concept. From the perspective of a proven algorithm called the Subjective Probability Model (SPM), we have created the perfect platform to eliminate unnecessary risk by understanding and profiting by the rules of the most risky game in the financial arena — penny stock trading.

To evaluate the technical perimeters, Jellybean Trader uses the Russell 2000® Index to track underlining sediment by monitoring support and resistance levels. Timing is everything – share prices typically reflect all available information, whether real or otherwise. You can buy a stock with poor fundamentals and make money, or buying the best managed and fundamentally sound company and lost money — the different is timing. Thus, the index provides a “snapshot” of what appears to be happening.
The Russell 2000 (ticker symbol ^RUT) is by far the most common benchmark to identify “small-caps” — Market capitalization is a measurement of corporate size equal to the share price times the number of shares outstanding of a public company. As owning stock represents owning the company, including all its equity, capitalization could represent the public opinion of a company’s net worth and is a determining factor in stock valuation.
The Russell 2000 Index measures the performance of the small-cap segment of the U.S. equity universe, and includes approximately 2,000 of the smallest securities based on a of their market cap. Therefore, the Russell 2000 is constructed to provide a comprehensive and unbiased small-cap barometer and characteristics of the true small-cap opportunity set.
Every morning under TODAY’S GAME PLAN, we will present support and resistance levels for the Russell 2000 Index. At the moment, the index is up 73% since the March bottom, besting the Dow Industrials (up 41%), S&P 500 (up 51%), and the Nasdaq Composite (up 656%) during that time.
Maintain support at 562.49 and resistance at 657.72 for the Russell 2000 Index. Based on Friday’s close at 598.94, the trade range suggests a short side bias and need to remain defensive, reduce laggards and establish a 20% cash position.
